This week has been a real busy one! We're at the end of week 23 now, which means we only have three weeks to get a tech-ready performance. Which is completely do-able, as we're only a week behind on our rehearsal schedule. The last two weeks was originally designated to just running it over and over, but having just one week to do that will be more than enough. So as I said before, this week and the weeks from here on out will be full of rehearsal!

Firstly, the biggest news of the week is that we have a name for our production! We've been thinking about it for some time now, but finally decided on it this week. So here goes.

TinCan Theatre presents: Home is the Mouth of a Shark.

So with a name comes promotion! This week we got to do a photo shoot, which was super fun! We needed some photos for the programme, so we got into costume and took a few promotional shots. Here's a couple of the photos we took and that will feature in the programme:

We're really happy with them! We think they represent the show nicely, look professional and are also quite bold photos that will hopefully attract a large audience!

As well as the photo shoot, we had a supervisor session with Bec this week. We haven't met with Bec in a while, so it was great to see her after such a long time and show her how far we'd come. We only had two scenes (and they were no where near complete) when we last saw her and this week we had almost a full show. So we showed her everything we had and then awaited her feedback. I frantically wrote down everything she said and six pages of notes later, we were inundated with lots of things to do. Which was great - as now we know all the stuff we need to work on and know the stuff that looks good and what doesn't. So our aim for the end of week 24 is to just continue working on that feedback. We have a lot to do in just three weeks, but we can do it! We're really motivated and ready to make this the best possible show it can be!
